Hi Des.
I know it was my turn to write, I was going to write after I did my exams, but unfortunately I came down with a migraine (very bad headache) and have been in bed ever since. :(
But I am feeling a little better, and I'm fed up with lying in bed so I thought about writing to you. So here is my reply to your mail.
Could you tell me what is so special about the line "hows it hanging"?
Things that I have been doing this week consist of: Thinking and doing my exams, writing a few emails, staying in bed for 2 days, thinking about my school trip to Paris.
Are your phone systems the same as America, as in you get free local calls? We have to pay all the time here that why I only log on at the weekend.
So Erdem was trying to come on both Cad and Kala then, he sure doesn't waste any time does he. :)
But seriously I suppose I should get Cal to have a word with him, we can't be letting things like this happen.
So what exactly did you get thrown out of ten-f for then? Nothing too bad I hope.
I tell you what, when I become very rich from all my software that I'm gonna make I'll go out and buy you a very nice and expensive diamond necklace, and so that it's a real surprise I'll fly out to oz and deliver it in person.
You really like that joke then, I nearly always have a little comment or remark like that when people say things, I just don't usually say them. :)
So have you been telling all your friends the joke, or is it just a private little joke for you and me to share?
Well I must say that I am indeed a trekkie, I have seen every episode of the Next Gen at least 15 to 20 times, I also have nearly all of them on tape. There are 2 conventions on in England this year, there is one in bournemouth which has Tim Russ (Tuvok) attending, there is also the StarTrek world tour coming to London in a few months. They have constructed a full size model of some parts of the Enterprise, it takes an hour to do the tour. Arpy and I are going to try and go to both.
Of my friends only Arpy and Tony are trekkies, Tony used to sim with DSE but he had to give up. Arpy hasn't got a computer so he can't join.
I am on a mailing list for a trek magazine, it's called transwarp, Here's some info on it:

In my home I have 3 cats, Sooty, Spike and Gizmo.
I am actually the youngest child in my family, I have two sisters and one brother, they are nearly 10 years older than me, so in a way I grew up like an only child because I never saw them. They were always out with their friends, and when they were in they were too old to hang with a kid.
My life, I am going to finish school and then go to uni. Once there I will learn software engineering and soon become a very skilled programmer. After uni I will write some games and stuff and try to get work with a large software company. In a couple of years it could well be that my name is on some of the new top titles. Getting married or having kids is not at the top of my agenda, to be honest I have never given it much thought.
My ambition is to drive the Chevrolet Corvette as it is my favorite of all time cars.
I have already passed my test, in England you can start to learn when your 17. I started just after my birthday and passed a few months later. I really love driving but I hate traveling, I did a two hour drive to Dorset with Arpy to visit some of his family there, and I really loved the drive. But if I had been the passenger I would of hated it since I don't like traveling.
I have no beliefs at all regarding death, I actually plan on living forever. :) I would like to be immortal, just to see if the human race did evolve into the race predicted by Startrek.
One thing I think that would be really cool would be that if you were a trekkie when you died, you would be reincarnated into the Trek universe. That would just be very cool. :)
Just to let you know I am not sick of your 'voice', due to all my patience with computers I never get bored and so I could just keep going for ages.
